Boyun Liu received her PhD from the English Department, Peking University, in a joint program with Yale Divinity School. She is now Assistant Professor of Interpreting at the School of Translation and Interpreting, Beijing Language and Culture University. Her research interest and publications include Apocalypticism, Hymnal translation, Syriac literature, and evolution and Christianity. She is currently studying with Prof. Daniel Williams on St. Ephrem the Syrian, and Prof. Abdul Massih Saadi on Classical Syriac. Boyun is also a professional simultaneous interpreter and interpreted for over three hundred conferences.
