Reverend Scott Heare graduated from Southern Methodist University with an M.DIV following a BA in Behavioral Science from Concordia University. He has also been invested in 20 years of biblical historical and archeological study in Israel.
A Pastor at heart, Scott has served United Methodist Church congregations for 30 years in San Antonio and Austin. Simultaneously, he has worked within non-profit organizations to develop wide-ranging initiatives, plant new churches, and assist in liminal seasons.
Presently, Scott is focused on Global Human Flourishing in the Austin/San Antonio corridor.
Scott lives in San Antonio with his wife, Cathi and their two youngest sons, Ethan and Kylen. Their oldest son, Ryan and his wife Emily live in Austin, and their daughter, Emily Jo attends Texas A&M University.
